Carole Topol Orland and Eric J. Broder have both been selected to the 2014 Connecticut Super Lawyers list. Additionally, Jessica S. Esterkin, Sarah E. Murray and Christopher J. DeMattie were chosen to the 2014 Rising Star list.
Super Lawyers selects outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to receive this honor. To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars list, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. No more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list. The annual selections are made through a process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area, resulting in a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.
