Broder Orland Murray & DeMattie LLC , a Westport law firm, recently added three lawyers. The firm, founded in 2005 by Eric J. Broder and Carole Topol Orland, also doubled its office space at 55 Greens Farms Road to 3,500 square feet and added a receptionist and a second paralegal.
Joining the firm’s current associate Jessica S. Esterkin are new lawyers Sarah E. Murray and Wendy G. Walker. Brightwell, who joined in July, was recently associated Rucci, Burnham, Carta & Carello LLP in Darien and has practiced law in Connecticut since 2005. He has experience in family and matrimonial litigation, and has served as a guardian ad litem for minor children. He is president of the Darien Rotary Club and has been a speaker at the Greenwich Center for Hope & Renewal.
Murray, who joined in June, was recently associated with the family and matrimonial law practice of Marvin, Ferro, Barndollar & Roberts LLC in New Canaan. She is a co-author of “Electronically Stored Information: What Matrimonial Lawyers and Computer Forensics Need to Know.”
Walker, who joined in August, has been practicing law since 1994. Her experience in family and matrimonial law has included work at Connecticut Legal Services and at Wofsey Rosen Kweskin and Kuriansky LLP in Stamford. She was formerly a partner in corporate litigation at Anderson, Kill, Olick & Oshinsky PC in New York and began her career at Goldman, Sachs & Co., as a financial analyst in mergers and acquisitions.
All of the firm’s lawyers are admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York, and are members of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Fairfield County Bar Association.
