From an early age, I learned that if something needed to be done, I should take initiative. I grew up in Florida, where my parents worked long hours and set an example of dedication and self-reliance. By middle school, I was helping manage our household—everything from emptying the dishwasher to paying bills and balancing the checkbook.
I continued handling our family’s finances, as well as the accounting for my grandfather’s business, while attending Florida State University, where I earned a degree in Management Information Systems with minors in Computer Science and Family and Child Sciences. Through my studies and responsibilities, I discovered that structure and organization bring me a sense of clarity and calm.
After graduating, I relocated to New York City. While working remotely for my grandfather’s business, I explored opportunities in several industries before co-founding a firm with three partners I met in NYC. Together, we advised organizations on alternative investments and conducted due-diligence reviews on their portfolios.
Continuing to work remotely for my family business, I made the difficult decision to step away from my partnership with the New York City firm after the birth of my two daughters. I then joined Broder & Orland LLC, where I have now worked for more than ten years and have watched the Firm evolve into Broder Orland Murray & DeMattie LLC. Being part of this ever-growing team rooted in integrity, compassion, and professionalism is profoundly fulfilling.
I support the firm through accounting, financial administration, and day-to-day operational management. Drawing on experience in both corporate and small-business settings, I bring a reliable, detail-focused approach to maintaining organized, accurate, and efficient internal resources.
What I value most about working in a family law practice is the sense of purpose it brings. The financial details I manage and the systems I strengthen ultimately support families during meaningful and often challenging transitions.
Outside the office, I prioritize time with my family, staying active, and enjoying the outdoors, along with the simple-life routines that keep life steady. Those same values guide how I approach my work each day—with care, clarity, and a commitment to supporting the firm and its clients.
