About Michael

From a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career where I could serve the public in one fashion or another. My father was my ultimate inspiration to devote my life to serving others. As a criminal defense attorney, he showed me how one individual could make a difference by advocating for the voiceless. Given his busy schedule, I found that most of our time together was spent on weekends. Our Saturdays were usually spent running errands around town. No matter what store or town we were in, my father would always be stopped by someone that wanted to chat. After a while, I realized that most of these people were my father’s former clients. Some had questions, and some just wanted to catch up, but it was clearly apparent the indisputable positive impact his guidance had on these individuals’ lives. My father’s commitment and passion for advocating for the voiceless ignited my drive to do the same.

Family has always been one of the most important aspects of my life. My parents taught me from the start that when all else fails, you should be able to trust and rely on family. I am lucky to have three siblings, who are also my best friends. My core familial values, coupled with my observations of my father in the legal profession, led me to pursue a career in family law.

I am from Weedsport, New York, a small town located West of Syracuse, New York. I am a huge Syracuse Orange and Boston sports fan. My passion is listening to and discovering new music. I have chosen to now reside in Norwalk, Connecticut, as watching my father over the years, I realize the value of living in the community where I practice law.

Michael, The Professional

I graduated from Western New England University in Springfield, Massachusetts, in 2019, receiving my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. In addition to my coursework at Western New England, I played Linebacker on the school’s NCAA Division III football team for four years. I served as a captain during my senior year. My experiences at Western New England University taught me the teamwork, devotion, and work ethic required to succeed in any area of life, as well as the law. I bring that same effort and energy to every case I work on.

Having fallen in love with New England four years prior, I decided to continue my education at Quinnipiac University School of Law. While at Quinnipiac, I competed in the school’s Mock Trial Society Intramurals. Additionally, I served as the Vice-President of the Military Law Society and was a member of the Italian American and the Sport and Entertainment Law Societies. At graduation, I received the Excellence in Clinical Education Award.

The most beneficial part of my time and education at Quinnipiac was the opportunity to take advantage of the number of internships and clinical experiences available. I have interned with two different branches of military justice in the United States Air Force JAG Corps in Columbus, Mississippi, and the United States Coast Guard JAG in Boston, Massachusetts. I was also a clinical intern for the Connecticut Veterans Legal Center Clinic, where I assisted in the representation of veterans seeking a review of their Character of Discharge determinations.

I also interned for the Quinnipiac University Athletics Compliance Office. During my last semester of law school, I worked as a law clerk for Lynch, Traub, Keefe & Errante, in New Haven, Connecticut.
