After spending years raising my three sons as a stay-at-home mom, I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a second professional chapter at Broder Orland Murray & DeMattie, LLC. I first joined BOMD in 2021, during a time when many companies were still finding their footing after COVID. I came on as a temporary employee and was offered a full-time position the following year, a moment I consider both validating and humbling.
Before joining the firm, I worked in various administrative roles over the course of 12 years, including assignments at hedge funds, private schools, a tech company, and an accounting firm. Each experience helped me stay engaged and prepared me for the opportunity to commit more fully once my youngest son became more independent.
Although I didn’t have a background in law, BOMD welcomed me and trusted in my ability to work hard, adapt quickly, and contribute wherever needed. I now work as both an Administrative and Legal Assistant and am proud to be part of a team of bright, dedicated professionals who care deeply about their clients and treat each other with kindness and respect. This firm is more than a workplace—it’s a true team.
Being married and reentering the workforce has been a form of therapy for me—a chance to rediscover myself, find purpose outside the home, and grow in ways I hadn’t expected. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology, which continues to support my understanding of people and communication in a family law setting.
Outside of work, I’ve always loved collecting recipes and was inspired by Martha Stewart to plan creative, memorable birthday parties for my sons when they were growing up. A quote that inspires me is, “It’s never too late to become who you might have been.”
Fun fact: Earlier in life, I worked as a shoe model for designers Anne Klein and René Caovilla—an experience that still makes me smile today.
